Josh
JOSH (Open Ethnicity) is an 8-year-old boy fueled by his curiosity. Dealing with the grief of his deceased grandad (COOPER), he visits him in his dreams – a distraction to his everyday, lonely life. Struggling to understand, Josh stays quiet around his mother (SARA) but is close and questioning his grandad. His adventurous and curious spirit leads him to uncover secrets about his mother and her childhood–learning that Cooper wasn’t as amazing as he made him out to be in his memory. Josh and we learn that Cooper wasn’t around for Sara, which saddens Josh. However, he understands his mother better than ever, bringing them closer together.
