Lily is a chubby teenage girl who hasn’t yet discovered that being overweight is a bad thing. She’s confident and happy, and especially innocent. Her idol, Amelia Grace, is someone she looks up to and she feels even more connected to her ever since Amelia began looking more like Lily. When she gets a chance to visit her on a music video set, she’s enamored with Amelia’s presence. She begins to worry for Amelia, as Amelia seems to be struggling with something. She discovers that Amelia hates her own body and then Lily begins to question her own looks. Amelia must make-up to her, and fix the part of Lily that she broke. *NOTES: Priority will be given to mid-to-plus size performers.*

The Director is elusive and powerful, a commanding presence on the set of Amelia Grace’s latest music video. She stands out when needed, but otherwise makes herself blend in with the presence of the shoot crew. She is a perfectionist, and scrutinizes every flaw in Amelia’s performance. For her, it’s all about getting the job done right, no exceptions.

Amelia Grace's manager keeps a watchful eye over both her and Lily during the music video shoot. He keeps things real, with a tough-love approach, but deep down he cares about Amelia and Lily, wanting things to go well for them. He blends in seamlessly with the rest of the set crew, keeping tabs on the whole affair as needed.

Amelia Grace's Stylist knows the importance of executing the Director's vision. Working with someone as high profile and volatile as Amelia, she is nervous, trying not to make any mistakes that could cost her her job. She is cautions to not overstep in either direction, wanting to make both Amelia and the Director satisfied.

A bit of a perfectionist, Carly stands with a positive attitude and won’t let anyone get in her way. Her determination is strong, but she struggles to know when to give up or ask for help. A 29 year old man who becomes romantically involved with the much younger Baby. He dreams of becoming a musician but lacks the drive to pursue it. MARK is an avoider of adult life, preferring instead to hang out at arcades and the local roller rink, much like he did when he was a teen. He presents himself as a caring figure to the much younger Baby, offering her a "pre-engagement", however his ultimate actions reveal a self-centeredness and a willingness to exploit her youth and vulnerability. There are no overt sex scenes in the film but a sexual relationship is implied.
