Storyline
"Not Enough" follows Aman Gill Hassan, a sixteen-year-old caught between worlds, raised by his Somali Muslim mother after his Indian father's death, yet claimed by neither side of his family. Desperate to belong, he finds acceptance with a group of street adults who see him for his talent, not his bloodline. But when a night that was supposed to be fun takes a devastating turn, Aman finds himself at the center of something he never saw coming. A story about identity, belonging, and the quiet tragedies that unfold when young people go unseen.

Description
Character portrayed is a male of mixed Somali/Punjabi descent. We are open to seeing Black actors and actors of South Asian descent who are not this exact ethnic mix. Aman is a quiet, introspective teenager who exists between two cultures but belongs to neither. He's a gifted writer who expresses on paper what he can't voice aloud beneath his reserved exterior. He's a young man aching for connection. His isolation drives him toward an older group that offers the belonging he's been denied, leading to a tragic misunderstanding with devastating consequences. Must convey deep internal emotion with minimal dialogue. Strong dramatic range required. The role demands a subtle, layered performance culminating in an intense climax. If your client is under 17 and/or in high school, please add age to Note section.
