Comments
Steffi Tupe and Albert Pham are film producers and directors whose work includes MARGO and THE PEE PEE POO POO MAN Documentary among more. Steffi Tupe was mentioned in the Toronto Star's article titled 'The New Toronto Bizarre' about embracing a scrappy, DIY way of filmmaking. This film is part of that ethos.
Storyline
Apo planned to celebrate her 33rd birthday at a fancy new restaurant until all of her friends
bailed last minute. To avoid paying the expensive cancellation fee, she scrambles to convince
others to come join her. Also, her boss sends her on a mission to pick up a package that puts
the company in jeopardy if it isn't picked up. Meanwhile her co-worker Don, a painter, upsets
his group of friends after rejecting a last minute addition to their DIY art show. Don struggles to
repair those friendships and save his reputation, all while managing his debilitating anxiety.
