Storyline

COMEDY TV SERIES - DMV is a 1/2 Hour Single Cam Comedy set in East Hollywood. Follows a workplace comedy set in the dreaded DMV office, following quirky minimum-wage employees who make the best of dealing with annoyed customers, finding solace in each other's company. (Excerpted from IMDb)

CARL is an average guy—generally affable and mild mannered. It’s just his third week at the DMV and he has been trying hard and had great patience with the outdated infrastructure. But when his computer crashes for the umpteenth time, and he is asked to enter the user-name that he has already entered multiple times, he reaches his breaking point and loses his mind. He leaps atop his desk, tosses paperwork and very publicly quits. Carl is dragged out, kicking and screaming... (NB: this segment should be funny, and NOT scary or physically intimidating in any way).

Your typical straight forward blue-collar worker, he is the ONLY person permitted to touch the A/C unit at the DMV, even on the hottest day of the year. He got there as fast as he could – only to find someone has messed with it and, as a result the entire system has shut down and will be, no surprise, expensive to fix.
