Storyline
Isaiah Heyward, a once-promising Broadway performer, is struggling to keep his artistic dreams alive. After a failed one-man Christmas show, he retreats to his sister Jess’s small town of Hancock for the holidays, where he’s quickly recruited to direct the local high school’s Christmas musical. With just three weeks and a group of inexperienced but spirited students, Isaiah reluctantly takes the reins—encouraged by his creative niece Aurora and the school's guidance counselor Lilly-Anne.
As Isaiah rebuilds the production (and himself), he discovers that one of the shy students, Miranda, is the daughter of Broadway producer Cindy Black. Seeing a chance to restart his career, he casts himself in the lead, hoping Cindy will attend. But as rehearsals progress, Isaiah finds deeper meaning in mentorship, community, and family.
Through this holiday journey, Isaiah realizes that rediscovering his passion doesn’t mean going back, but moving forward with purpose.
