Storyline
Better Luck Tomorrow meets Thirteen meets a female Superbad. This dark comedy follows two teen girls in 1999 within Markham's Asian community. Amidst cultural expectations and pressure for good grades, they uncover a hidden world of drugs, gangs, and violence, further complicated by their emerging queer identities. It's a wild ride of hilarity and danger as they balance family expectations with harsh high school realities and self-discovery.
