Storyline
Intrigue Films is proud to announce “Beyond Belief”, the faith-based ’80s movie that couldn’t be made in the ’80s! Featuring the music of Petra, Beyond Belief is a family film that tells the story of what can happen when you listen to God’s voice, and then live out His dream for your life!

A headstrong teenager who is still very angry over the tragic death of his father 5 years prior.
Must have strong range in acting ability and MUST be able to sing and play electric guitar VERY WELL.
This role is also physically demanding; therefore, talent must be willing and able to demonstrate athletic ability (ie., running, training, etc.).
Role works approximately 15-20 days.
Pay rate: $275.00 + 20% agency fee (if applicable) per day.

Description
White. A loving mom (to Andy), devoted Pastor’s wife (to Martin) and grateful daughter-in-law (to Jake). She believes the church her husband built and pastored can still be the church he dreamed of, despite difficult times and his passing – she is a woman of great faith. She is a widowed single mom, determined to help her 16 year old son regain his faith and his light.
MUST be a strong actor with great emotional range. Role works approximately 9 days.

Description
White. He’s a wise man with an interesting past. He has lost one of his two sons tragically. He naturally and quickly steps into the role of the rock his grandson and daughter-in-law can lean on. He’s part cowboy, part track coach (more than 20 years ago), part philosophical mentor, part lost soul who needs purpose he gains from his grandson, Andy. He’s rugged, patient, and stalwart. Our audience must wonder how he managed to raise two sons who are such opposites.
Role has a wide emotional range and calls for a strong actor.

Description
White. He’s a rich real estate developer and uncle to our lead, Andy – he also happens to be the father to Derrick – a bully who is just trying to make Leo proud. Both Leo and Derrick have lost their sense of right v. wrong and neither seem to live up to the legend of Leo’s deceased brother. Leo doesn’t care who or what he tears down – if it makes him rich and powerful. Money is control.
This role has a big emotional range and must be a strong actor.

Description
White. He is a pastor, who puts everyone before himself. He deeply cares for his parishioners and serves Jesus by doing so. He is a wise, humble and loving son (to Jake), brother (to Leo), husband (to Sarah) and father (to Andy), and a former champion marathon runner. He gives up on no one and truly walks the walk of doing as Jesus would do. He dies young while helping someone else, but we see him in flashbacks, woven throughout the story.
