Storyline
Storyline: Amateur ghost hunters Brian and Jane are looking forward to their upcoming wedding at a famous haunted inn, but their plans are stalled when Angelique, a ghost in an 18th century wedding dress, mistakes Brian for her long dead fiancé Malcolm. As soon as Angelique learns that the young couple’s wedding is scheduled for the same date as her own interrupted ceremony, she vows to put a stop to the festivities. Angelique’s growing distress over the upcoming nuptials begin to adversely affect her ghostly powers, causing lights to flicker, storms to brew, and alcohol to turn to vinegar. To calm Angelique and save their wedding from disaster, Jane and Brian try various methods to unlock the centuries old binds that keep the spirits apart, with unexpected and hilarious consequences. True love ultimately prevails, bridging the gap across time and space to allow Angelique and Malcolm to finally say “I do” alongside Jane and Brian.

A young, temperamental Angelique haunts the Wayside Inn and a lovesick Scotsman spirit is tethered to a pub far away from his beloved Angelique. Ghostly encounters aside, the strangest thing is the uncanny resemblance Brian and Malcolm share. It would be almost impossible to tell the two apart because Malcolm is Brian’s great, great, great uncle. MALCOLM, the spitting image of Brian, is a kilt wearing Scotsman who was killed in 1776 while on his way to elope with Angelique. A Revolutionary war hero, Malcolm is tethered to a local pub near the field where he was killed by British soldiers. Malcolm is bewildered by Brian and Jane’s interest in him, not realizing that his one true love is also stuck, unable to move forward. Malcolm eagerly cooperates with Jane and Brian in their efforts to reunite him with his beloved Angelique, often with hilarious consequences...LEAD.
