Storyline
The rationale behind this commercial challenges adults who still don’t recycle, or act like it’s an insurmountable burden. ...And who better to take them on than the ones who will suffer the most from their mess: the next generation. This campaign gives the kids a platform to vent their frustrations to all the adults who don’t recycle. Bringing moxie and humour to the issue, kids confront some of the excuses that adults use to avoid recycling, and expose them for the nonsense that they are. These kids will be the heart of the recycling movement in a memorable campaign that reminds us how easy it is to recycle
Roles
Role typeRoleGender & Age range
PrincipalKid - Video 1All 7 - 12 Years old
Description
This kid challenges some of the weak excuses adults in the workplace make to not recycle. With some sarcasm, this kid challenges an adult’s lack of awareness about what materials may be recycled, or that recycling is too hard or inconvenient. This kid lists some chores that are actually more difficult and time consuming than recycling - and identifies a couple poor excuses for not taking a moment to recycle. PLEASE INCLUDE DATE OF BIRTH WITH SUBMISSION.
