Storyline
In the late 1990s, eight-year-old Sasha and her Hungarian immigrant family relocate to a new home on Vancouver Island. Their fresh start is upended by Sasha’s oldest brother Jeremy as his long-standing behavioural outbursts cause escalating chaos within their family. Hitting a breaking point, Sasha’s mother reaches out to a social worker for help. Sasha, now an adult in the present day, answers the call and becomes the caseworker for her own past.
