Storyline
Iranian immigrant Yasamin Karimi wants nothing more than to fit in with other teens at her new high school. But seeing as she knows nothing about Tamagotchis or anything else in 2004 pop culture, Yasi has no choice but to follow the lead of Langley’s queen bee Rachel Stanford. With help from Rachel and her minions, Yasi dyes her hair blonde and finally perfects her English. But as Yasi strays further away from her cultural identity, she takes several steps closer to a dark entity that threatens to consume her forever.
