A closeted young woman returns to her insular African-Canadian religious community, in an attempt to understand the fits her sister had as a child. In her arrival, questioning of religion and rationale ensues. In between a clear vision of freedom and distorted memories of the past-- agitated anger, regret and desire bubbles to the surface.
