We are currently getting ready to launch a crowdfunding campaign on May 1st to help raise our production budget for Chapter 2 (which will pick up immediately where Chapter 1 ended) and are looking to cast the very important role of Jess Bradford, originally played by Olivia Hussey in the 1974 film. We are looking for an actress with a likeness to Olivia Hussey, and a strong understanding of character, one who can bring the essence of Olivia Hussey's cadence in terms of vocal quality and English accent to the performance.

We recommend watching some interviews of Olivia Hussey on YouTube, and pay close attention to the way she speaks. We don't need a carbon copy of course, but an actress who can bring the essence of the character to the performance is important. Watching the original Black Christmas from 1974 (free on YouTube) is also recommended.

We appreciate and thank all who submit, but will only contact the actors we are interested in. Thank you for your time, we really appreciate it.

Description
Jess Bradford is the only survivor of the horrific events from the original Black Christmas (1974). In our story and continuation, she has spent most of her life as a successful author, having gained world wide fame and fortune from her book The Belmont Murders, a "tell-all" true story of those same horrific events and how she survived them.

Jess now finds herself trapped and alone in the basement of her own home, held captive by Billy and Agnes, the evil psychopaths from her past. But there's renewed hope, her granddaughter Sam is trapped with her. Now the two of them must search for their inner strength and fight back.

Jess is strong, smart, brave, and independent. She is still like the girl from the 1974 film, just older and wiser. When we find her however, she is tired and a little bit weak. She's been in that basement for a couple of weeks held hostage.
