These one day shoots are called “Tv Teasers” and are focused on showcasing the CFC TV writers and their original series pilots developed through the industry lauded Bell Media Prime Time TV Program - Comedy Cohort. Teasers are professionally produced 3-4 minute promotional pieces designed to engage an audience and hook them into the writer’s series concept. They are premiered at an Film/TV Industry Showcase event and will eventually be available online through the CFC’s youtube site for further viewing.




Actors must double vaxxed and cannot have travelled outside of Canada 7 days prior to the shoot and must be symptom free. Performer must rapid test prior to shoot.




Vincent Lui is a Chinese Canadian writer based out of Toronto. A graduate of the BIPOC Kids’ Television Bootcamp, his latest works include writing on upcoming children’s animated shows Pet Shop Zombies (Epic Story Media), L’il Stompers (IoM Media), and a new series under development at Wind Sun Sky, as well as season 2 of the Token on Call webseries. He like funny, especially funny with heart, and is fascinated with the immigrant story.

When a second-gen Chinese Canadian entrepreneur is hired by a ghost hunting agency to deal with an Asian spirit, he realizes there’s an untapped market in exorcizing ethnic paranormal activity and starts a business to cash in on it despite knowing nothing about the beliefs or traditions of any of the cultures.
