Storyline
Officer Jane Thorne is driven by a deep need for justice over the senseless killing of her husband, also a state trooper. She initiates her own rogue investigation, trailing a suspected serial killer that news media have dubbed the ‘Satanic Slasher’. As Jane travels across the country, she pieces together evidence exposing the true identity of her husband’s killer, and the dark motive behind the killings.

Victims and crime-scenes have been marked with demonic symbols: pentagrams, inverted crosses, all hallmarks of a demented mind inspired by devil-worship - this is Psycho Killer, aka P.K. Police are desperate to stop the killings, but investigators know little about the suspect other than he is a White male with a powerful physique in his late 30s or 40s. His dreams and flashbacks suggest a brutal past, but we can only surmise the actual abuse that led to such a damaged soul. In fact, P.K.’s face is never fully seen on-screen. When he kills, or sleeps, P.K. wears a mask of vulcanized rubber (camera will never fully expose P.K.’s face). ... P.K. kills without passion in a state that is almost serene, he is dead inside. While many of the murders over just the past few weeks may seem random and include theft, P.K. kills for just one reason - to please his master, The Devil. But killing individuals is ultimately not enough. P.K.’s final purpose is to commit mass murder on a scale history has never known. Becky contacts Jane outside office-hours and shares what she knows, which is a lot. She is well-aware that communicating with Jane could very well cost her job. | ||

Once they gain access to the control room, Wilkes has his own melt-down, desperately pleading for P.K. to spare their lives. Wilkes is not cut-out to be a hero; he follows P.K.’s orders in a futile effort to save his own skin. | ||
