We can accept union and non-union actors through our student agreement with ACTRA. This is a non-paying student film and no permit is required. Actors will receive a copy of the finished film for their demo reel.
Meals and beverages will be provided on the shoot days.
If transportation is required we can arrange for a ride for the actor during filming.
Filming will be occurring in the GTA, using equipment provided by Humber College Film and Television Production Program.

Storyline
When his ex-con brother, Chris, enlists his help on a break-in, Duncan Fitzpatrick doesn’t know what to do. He’d agreed to run away with his brother, but only under belief that he had turned over a new leaf. Now stuck, waiting in the car for his brothers return, Duncan grows restless as his brother breaks in. There’s only one problem with Chris’s plan, someone else is in the house. As the hour grow late, Duncan enters the home, only to discover how truly lost his brother has become.

Duncan feels a great sense of guilt regarding his brother Chris, a survivor’s remorse having found a comfortable living environment, post-separation from his brother. He feels his brother deserves a genuine family connection and agrees to live with him as a result. Duncan is very timid, and often doesn’t stand up for himself. He begins the picture entirely in the dark and is left to deal with the consequences once Chris’s plan goes off the rails. | ||

Chris is a deeply bitter man, blaming his life’s problems on the foster system and his separation from his family. Chris starts off playing the night close to the chest, only telling Duncan what he absolutely needs to know. He wants his brother to come along with him, to join him in this act of revenge, but he knows, unless it’s a surprise, Duncan won’t want to get involved. Above all else Chris wants revenge against William Doyle, a social services worker formerly attached to he and his brother’s case. On their last night in town, with the freedom of the road ahead of them, Chris just can’t help but get one last jab in on the man he blames for it all going wrong. | ||

He was inevitably responsible for separating the brothers as he was for many other cases serving this role. In the film, Doyle is mainly a punching bag for Chris, acting out of fear and bearing the consequences of his punishment.
