This spot is about the deliciousness of McCain's French Fries. It features a family gathering: hosts, an uncle, an older aunt, parents of the host and, of course, a younger cousin. The dynamic is 'interesting', as many family gatherings can be challenging. What smooths it all out for this family are delicious and distracting McCain's French Fries....and the 'Distractifry' machine (fictional to this story) they come from. As things begin to take a turn, as they are apt to do at family functions, all become aware of the 'Distractifry' machine on the table. It is dispensing fresh, golden brown, delicious McCain fries, the hosts ploy worked. All seem to be now enjoying each others company AND the Fries. They're passing fries, eating fries, feeding each other fries. The Distractifry machine has miraculously put an end to family squabbling! Think very odd SNL sketch.
