Storyline
ENG. Adrián, an undocumented immigrant in California, after six months separated from his daughter Isa due to divorce, gives up his rights to a property just to be able to see her for one weekend. During those two days, father and daughter navigate the emotional distance that has built up: the girl speaks only English, distrusts her father’s modest apartment, and has spent months calling her mother’s new partner “dad.” Little by little, through small moments of tenderness, they manage to reconnect and rebuild trust. However, when Adrián returns Isa just twenty minutes late, his ex-wife forbids him from seeing her for another two weeks.
