Storyline
Single-mom Lexi Chambers runs a busy catering company, with less time for family than she would prefer. ...An up-planned, Christmas ‘vacation’ at a ski lodge shakes-up Lexi’s schedule, and the notion that she does not have time for romance. Little does she know it’s all a match-making ploy concocted by her mother June and her old ‘friend’ Dan.

Description June is mother to Lexi, grandmother to Piper. A world traveller and free spirit with a flair for the dramatic, June strikes a ‘hip’ contrast to her more conventional daughter. Piper usually spends Christmas at a local ski lodge, but this year Breckenridge is a little outside Lexi’s budget, and heavy work schedule. That reality happily changes when June announces she has re-kindled an old friendship with the owner of the lodge, Dan Thompson - and they’ve all been invited to the lodge as guests! ...Lexi, Piper (and Dan’s son Ridge) don’t know that June and Dan have actually been dating for months. As ‘the kids’ encourage a romance between June and Dan (that unknowingly already exists), June and Dan play casual match-makers to Lexi and Ridge. June’s hope for Lexi is that she work less, spend more time with Piper and keep the door open to a possible relationship with Dan’s son, Ridge. | ||

Description Dan is the long-time owner/operator of the Breckenridge Ski Lodge. The lodge is a much-loved institution and is celebrating its 50th year of operation this Christmas. Dan’s son Ridge helps out wherever and whenever he can. Sometimes Dan thinks Ridge takes his duties a little too casually. Ridge knows that and tries to prove Dan wrong. ...When Dan informs Ridge that he’s recruited a party-planner and caterer (Lexi) to help out with the lodge’s 50th Anniversary festivities, Ridge sees that as a lack of confidence in his own abilities. ...What Ridge and Lexi don’t know is that their parents are not just a couple of old friends - they’ve actually been a couple for nearly a year! Since Dan’s wife died a few years back, he was feeling lonely. His new/old relationship with June has offered Dan deep happiness - a happiness he hopes Ridge can find as well. | ||

Although Lexi’s business running a catering company is wholly local, Piper wishes her mom would work a little less so they can spend more time together - a hope shared with her grandmother June whom Piper absolutely adores. ...Piper and her Dad usually spend Christmas at Breckenridge Ski Lodge, but this year he’s in Malaysia for the Holidays which is a bummer for Piper since many of her friends spend Christmas there as well.
