Storyline
When seasoned stuntman “Iron” Percy Rivers arrives on set to meet his stunt coordinator Steve and his director Georgia, he is put off by their lack of concern about the complicated car flip they are asking him to perform. Sitting behind the wheel of the stunt car, Percy finds the courage to refuse the dangerous stunt, despite pressure from Steve and Georgia. He walks off set, quitting the dangerous job. Months later, Percy is now a stunt coordinator himself, where he finds vindication of his actions through safely training a new stunt protege and reading in the paper about Steve’s arrest related to workplace negligence.

Description
“Iron” Percy Rivers is a seasoned stuntman who has a reputation as a cool, calm professional. He’s been in the game long enough to know when something doesn’t feel right, and when an amateur film crew wants him to perform a dangerous stunt, his reputation and career are put on the line.

During the leadup to the stunt, Percy is questioning himself - is he overthinking things? Is it really that dangerous? Percy wars with himself, whether to be the steely professional, or trust his instincts. Once he makes the decision to walk away from the stunt, he stands on it, outwardly confident but inwardly still rattled. There is a strong undercurrent of uncertainty in his character until the end of the movie, where he’s proven right and finds his peace.

He has no qualms about using his moderate fame inappropriately, including to secure jobs he’s not qualified for, and to try and impress young women on set. His reputation is everything to him, and when the stuntman he hired refuses a dangerous stunt, Steve doesn’t hesitate to get aggressive. He’s a bully, who expects those around him to follow his orders without question.
