Storyline
After years of rebuilding her life in Canada, Iranian-Canadian activist Sabä Mostofi is thrust back into the past when a former Iranian interrogator is arrested and put on trial for crimes committed abroad. Asked to testify, Sabä must confront the trauma she buried to protect her family, while the case draws media attention and potential danger into their lives.
As the trial exposes systemic brutality and sexual violence, Sabä becomes an unwilling public figure, forcing her to balance motherhood, marriage, and personal safety against the moral cost of remaining silent. Judas Tree is an intimate political drama about survival, accountability, and the courage it takes to reclaim one’s voice.

Roles
| Role type | Role | Gender & Age range |
| Supporting | RAMIN | Male 35 - 50 Years old |
Description Iranian-Canadian. Role requires Farsi dialogue. A charismatic and highly respected human-rights lawyer, Rämin is intelligent, driven, and morally uncompromising. Deeply committed to justice, he believes accountability is not optional: especially when historic crimes can finally be prosecuted. While outwardly confident and articulate, Rämin carries the weight of the cases he fights, and his urgency sometimes blinds him to the personal cost borne by those closest to the truth. | ||
