You must be a highly skilled dancer and performer with a great ability to improvise, animate and entertain large crowds with fans of all ages! Previous experience as a mascot, live animator, character performer, or interactive entertainer is an asset but not required. STRONG DANCE ABILITY NEEDED. Skills in performance dance, tumbling, gymnastics, break dancing, or other special skills are a plus. Experience working with kids is considered an asset. Knowledge of the game of baseball and the Toronto Blue Jays is an asset. Candidates must have the ability to work well in a team environment, communicating with other professionals within the Blue Jays organization.
Storyline
(Agents, please note, the successful candidate can hold other jobs as long as they are available for scheduled appearances. Also, there are two understudies cast each season who are available for planned conflicts). Seeking a very strong dancer, any gender with a height requirement of at least 5'10" to fit into the costume. As ACE, you will be part of our exciting 2026 TORONTO BLUE JAYS season. This is an INCREDIBLE experience and opportunity for a performer to entertain 50,000 fans each game as the Toronto Blue Jays mascot!!! ACE performs at home games including Jr. Jays Sundays, which involves pre and post game events and promotional days. ACE is beloved in the community as well and does a variety of appearances on behalf of the Toronto Blue Jays representing our home team during the season and off-season. ACE will be required to attend preseason and in-season rehearsals during the contract period and must be available when needed to shoot promotional content for in-game, social media and commercials.
