Storyline
Alicia De la Torres returns home after years abroad to attend her younger brother Lorenzo’s engagement party. Widowed and pregnant, she carries both grief and hope as she reunites with the only family she has left. Lorenzo, now the formidable head of the De la Torres Group, personally picks her up from the airport. Carolina, the bride-to-be’s mother, catches sight of Lorenzo and Alicia together and mistakes Alicia for his mistress. Fueled by rage, she calls her daughter, Sophie. Consumed by jealousy and betrayal, Sophie storms into Lorenzo’s mansion, only to find Alicia alone. What follows is a brutal confrontation—verbal accusations turn into physical abuse.
