Storyline

Written and directed by Thai horror director Chatchai Hongsirikun. This film is scheduled for a theatrical release in Southeast Asia.
When Niu, an 18-year-old Thai exchange student, disappears in Canada, her mother sets out to find her, driven by a love and concern that are difficult to put into words. The search is filled with silence and the unsettling strangeness of a foreign land—unfamiliar languages, flickering lights, and an atmosphere that feels off. The mother begins to sense that her daughter is no longer entirely herself. During the search, she meets Pete, a calm, secretive Thai teen and former student, who gradually helps guide her closer to the truth. Pete becomes the link between the mother, her daughter, and the mysteries that are slowly unfolding. Everything leads to James, the middle-aged host of Niu in Canada. His home and life are filled with unsettling rituals and documents hinting at a darker reality. The mother must confront past mistakes, unknown forces, and James’ cryptic methods in order to protect her daughter. As the mother and Pete begin to uncover James’ secrets, the story becomes a tense web of fear, pain, and a love that gnaws at the heart. But who truly inhabits Niu’s body? What is James’ intention toward the mother’s daughter? And can her mother save her at all?

His hands grip the steering wheel a little too tightly as if letting go might make everything fall apart. Wilson discovered a money making opportunity as an intermediary agent for overseas students studying in Canada. This system has no strict guidelines and a language barrier that makes it difficult to regulate. WILSON had good intentions as he thought he was making money while helping underprivileged children. He repeated the same behavior: showing up, taking jobs, getting in trouble, and running away to open a new place. But when he began to realize that other students who had sent James to school had disappeared, he became afraid and became an "accomplice." He chose to flee again, but it was too late
