Storyline
“Aftermath” follows Mallory, a sixteen-year-old high school student who frequently vandalizes an out-of-order bathroom stall to express her emotions after experiencing a sexual assault. When someone starts responding to her in mysterious pink handwriting, she sets out to uncover who it is. This search pushes Mallory to confront what happened to her and how it has impacted her mental health and interpersonal relationships, helping her begin her path toward healing.

Description Looking for actor 18+ but can play 16. She suppresses her true self and interests in an effort to go unnoticed, has stopped trying in school, and struggles to talk about what happened. This has created distance between her and the people around her, particularly her best friend, Danielle. Mallory has developed silent resentment towards the people in her life as a result of this distance, feeling like everybody is constantly walking on eggshells around her and won’t speak to her like a normal person anymore. She expresses these emotions by regularly vandalizing an out-of-order bathroom stall at school. | ||
