Storyline
Back from her failed painting career in Paris and penniless in rural Ontario, JESSIE now lives with her mother PAULINE. Jessie catches wind that the local steel mill is closing down, which would devastate the town with layoffs. Nobody, except for her cousin KURT, takes this rumor seriously. Believing the townspeople to be too ignorant to save themselves, Jessie races to make enough money to buy a plane ticket out of here.
