Storyline
When tenth grader, Kai, sneaks out to spend time with his 20-year-old brother, Simon, he spends the night getting into mischief, aiming to win the approval and attention of his brother.
When Simon comes home from university, he chooses to hangout with his rowdy high-school friends, instead of spending the night with Kai. Their mother, June, forbids Kai from going with Simon so he sneaks out and is brought into the world of a 20-year-old far too soon. Here, Kai is exposed to alcohol, weed, and malicious pranks. Simon's friends give Kai an opportunity to win over his brother, but Simon wants no part in supporting Kai's rebellious actions.
“Wandering in the Dark” is about the relationship between two brothers during the time when the eldest moves into the next stage of their life, leaving their younger sibling behind. Despite their changing relationship, the bond between brothers never truly goes away.
