Storyline
After two years as the primary caretaker to her mother with Alzheimer’s, a young woman grapples with guilt over their turbulent past and struggles to find direction as her youth quietly slips away.

Description
Once a reckless, thrill-seeking teenager; the unexpected responsibility of caring for her mother with Alzheimer's has forced Astrid to grow up fast. Now, isolated from her peers and stuck in a monotonous cycle of caregiving, Astrid has grown dejected. At her core, Astrid is a dreamer and wants much more out of life but feels an obligation to her mother. Torn between doing the right thing and pursuing a life of her own, Astrid realizes she has an impossible decision before her - Open to all ages that can convincingly play a young woman in her early 20s - This role will shoot both in Tiny, ON and Ottawa, ON, for which accommodations and travel assistance will be available.

diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s. Now, only in her late fifties, Marianne’s condition has quickly declined leaving her in the sole care of her daughter, Astrid. Feeling lost, scared, and confused, Marianne has lost much of her edge - even so, her go-getter attitude persists through her condition, and she does her best to enjoy the little moments of her simple life. - Open to all ages that can convincingly play an older woman in her 50-60s. Shooting takes place in Tiny, ON over 3-4 days, for which accommodations will be available.
