We can accept non-union actors. This is a non-paying student film and no permit is required. Actors will receive a copy of the
finished film for their demo reel.

Storyline

Elliott goes home for the weekend to take care of the dogs with his dad. Theme: A man is not a man until his father sees him as one.

Description Elliott is a university student coming home for the weekend. His mom is leaving and it's just him and his dad. Elliott and his father love keeping their relationship on the surface. Elliott doesn't know how to open up to his father. He wants to be seen as a man in his father's eyes but he isn't sure how to make him see it. NOTE: This role has scenes where the actor will be smoking (prop cigarette/ cigar).

Description Dad is a boomer-type parent. Strong, stoic and happy with his life. He unknowingly is quite hard on Elliott; his expectations are high for his son. He does not know how to get Elliott to open up because he has never learned himself. NOTE: This role has scenes where the actor will be smoking (prop cigar).
