Description Filipina, Oliver’s industrious birth mother who had given him up for adoption in the Philippines out of poverty. Though extremely independent, she deeply yearns for her son back in her life. Rediscovering him as an adult after his first Olympic gold, she immigrates to Canada working as a domestic helper in the hopes of revealing the truth to him someday.Bisaya-speakers are preferred.
