While working as a café barista, he tirelessly cares for his mother, Adaline, who is battling a severe eating disorder, all while processing the grief of losing his father. Amidst the turmoil, Ben’s chance meeting with Clara, a spirited and empathetic psychology student, introduces a glimmer of hope and an unexpected spark. Despite her initial reluctance to dive into a relationship, Clara’s presence becomes a lifeline, offering moments of joy and light that Ben sorely needs. As Adaline’s health spirals and she faces a critical hospitalization, Ben must confront his fears and learn, through Clara, that vulnerability and compassion are powerful tools for healing. Blueberry-Lemon reveals the profound impact of small, tender acts of kindness during life’s darkest moments and underscores the strength found in connection.
