Storyline
Dolores, a hardworking Filipino immigrant mother, and Isaac, her vibrant, drag-performing son, navigate the complexities of their relationship in Canada. What begins as a typical evening of playful teasing and shared meals slowly reveals deeper layers of unresolved grief. As they confront the pain of losing Isaac’s father and the struggles of adapting to a new life far from home, Dolores and Isaac must learn to communicate honestly and heal the wounds that have kept them emotionally distant.

LeadDOLORESFemale 50 - 55 Years old
Description
Female, Early 50s, Filipina. Description: Dolores is a woman in her early 50s with warm and expressive eyes and a kind smile that often hides the weariness etched into her face. Her hair, usually tied back in a practical bun, is peppered with strands of gray, a testament to the years she has spent caring for others. She has a sturdy build, shaped by a life of hard work and resilience. Dolores carries herself with a blend of grace and determination, often masking her deeper emotions with a vibrant personality and a sharp sense of humour. Beneath her cheerful exterior, Dolores is plagued by guilt and unresolved grief over her husband's death, which she believes she must bear alone to protect Isaac. Her inner turmoil is reflected in moments of quiet introspection, where her eyes betray the sadness she tries so hard to conceal. Preferrence for someone who can speak Tagalog and/or other Filipino dialects.

LeadISAACMale 24 - 28 Years old
Description
Male (Open to Transgender submissions), Mid 20s, Filipino. Isaac is a young man in his mid-20s with striking, angular features and a lean, athletic build that he maintains for his performances. His dark, expressive eyes are framed by long lashes, often accentuated by makeup, reflecting his bold personality. He keeps his hair short and stylish, in contrast to the array of wigs he uses for his drag shows. Isaac’s style is flamboyant and colourful, embodying his love for performance and self-expression. He is energetic and often projects an air of confidence, but underneath, he carries the weight of feeling misunderstood and overlooked in his grief. Isaac longs for emotional closeness with his mother and struggles with the unspoken pain between them. His character is marked by a mix of youthful exuberance and a deep, introspective desire to connect and be understood, especially by Dolores, whom he sees as both his greatest supporter and a source of unresolved tension. Preferrence for someone who can speak Tagalog but not required
