Storyline
Abby Marshall has had a successful career playing the role of Gabriella in the hit TV show Guiding Grace. Her TV character is insightful, selfless, and always knows exactly what to say to those who need it most. Unfortunately, after playing this fictional perfect person for so long, the world now expects the same of Abby in her day-to-day life. When she finds herself attacked in the press over a misunderstanding taken out of context, she retreats to a ski town in Vermont to let the dust settle and reassess how she wants the rest of her career and life to unfold.
Fate leads her to a quaint bed and breakfast run by the charming innkeeper Tom, where she decides to do some research for an upcoming role as a mystery-solving innkeeper. Her research takes her to a local church where Tom is struggling to fill the shoes of his late wife as the director of the Christmas pageant. Abby offers to help him with the directing, and slowly begins to explore what other paths life might offer her. With the support of Tom, his daughter Kat, and key members of the town, Abby finds the help she needs to solve the biggest mystery of all: what truly matters most to her in life.

Supporting | OLIVER | Male 30 - 50 Years old |
Description Rachel was the original name in script - she is now OLIVER. 30-50'sAbby’s manager, a polished and charismatic man who’s always thinking about PR and image. Oliver is smooth, calculated, and very much the Hollywood type, reminiscent of Robert Evans in his prime. Because he's so focused on his own reputation and career, the actor who plays him should have comedy chops so he doesn't simply come off as a one-dimensional conflict plot device. Yes, he's a smooth talker, always looking for the next opportunity to boost Abby’s—and by extension, his own—career, but we can't help but laugh as he delivers those smooth lines. Open Ethnicity | ||
