Storyline
#VANLIFE is a psychological thriller/horror filled with twist and turns that addresses the cost of fame and its social and environmental impact.
Carlsen and Vanessa are young adults who live the dream of having an endless vacation in their customized RV. The lifestyle, known by “vanlife” is popular in social media. All they have to do is sell their carefree life online. However their own relationship is strained and at a breaking point.
When they meet the carefree Deidra, an older free spirit, their world turns upside down. Their vanlife lifestyle unravels. Vanessa seems to quit and Deidra rides in her place. When Deidra brings Carlsen to one of her community’s secret places, she springs the trap.

Description Carlsen is in his twenties. He’s Indigenous, but passes for white. Grew up in a single mother household with his brother Clint. Where his brother made big plans and dreams Carlsen was rudderless, until his brother committed suicide. In the wake of this devastation Carlsen has found a direction through Vanlife. A lifestyle that has Carlsen living in his van with his girlfriend, Vanessa. He’s a natural in front of the camera, and it keeps him from fully processing his brother’s death. He has no idea Vanessa is leaving him. We are willing to explore those actors who look more indigenous for this role as well. | ||
