Storyline
An atypically structured story follows an atypical university student: Juniper Ritger. Set
in the picturesque Bisque Country, this tale shows our protagonist as she grapples with
her mother’s suicide, her own sexual exploration, assult, and artistic outlets. As an
Music and Theatre major, Juniper is a complex and colourful character. She attends her
classes, studying with her vocal coach, Sonya, extracurricularly. Our story focuses on
Juniper’s attempt to process her deceased Mother’s death, memorial and past pains.
While learning to use her voice to advocate for herself, Juniper learns that even the
strongest sopranos fall victim to society’s standards of shape, sickness and sanity.
