We can accept union and non-union actors through our student agreement with ACTRA. This is a non-paying student film and no permit is required. Actors will receive a copy of the finished film for their demo reel. Meals and beverages provided on the shoot days.
Storyline
When a lonely and directionless young woman accidentally hits a girl with her car, she is forced to shoulder the responsibility of transitioning the new ghost from purgatory on earth to the afterlife. The story follows Avery as she reluctantly embarks on a journey to release the ghostly Ella from limbo, but as they perform ritualistic tasks from an otherworldly set of instructions, Avery's detached attitude begins to slip. What will she do when the only friend she's ever had transcends the physical world?

Description Lonely, directionless, and unfulfilled, Avery doesn't care about much. Overwhelmed with the pressures of adulthood and the impending doom of legal consequences, she develops a newfound desire to become a part of society. Friendship, steady employment, and other tenets of living have never appealed to Avery before meeting Ella, the only person she has ever felt any meaningful connection with (and unfortunately also the only person she's ever hit with her car). | ||
