Something's Phishy is the winner of the 5th Queer Your Stories Short Film Pitch Competition organized and selected by outACTRAto, ACTRA Toronto’s 2SLGBTQIA+ committee. The competition is a partnership with the Inside Out Toronto 2SLGBTQ+ Film Festival, Canada’s largest 2SLGBTQ+ film festival and the single largest promoter and exhibitor of 2SLGBTQ+ content in Canada. Something's Phishy will play at the Inside Out Toronto 2SLGBTQ+ Film Festival 2024.
Storyline
Bex, aiming to lift the spirits of her heartbroken friend Danny, attempts to prove his irresistibility by covertly impersonating him on Grindr, inadvertently causing chaos in the coffee shop where they work.

Failing at the online dating game, they feel hopeless and look for some advice from their bestie Bex at the coffee shop where they both work. MAY INCLUDE ONE SCENE BEING TOPLESS.
