The CBC Actors Conservatory is recognized industry-wide as a vital hub for spotting and supporting exciting and original onscreen talent. This full-time, creative and professional experience has launched close to 100 actors since it began and allows actors to expand their skills while empowering them to navigate career and marketplace opportunities. The "Close Ups" are original character driven pieces that allow actors to showcase and explore dramatic scenes and characters that excite them.
Dorrett White (She/Her) is an actor and writer from Toronto, of Canadian-Jamaican descent. Dorrett values the importance of sharing her own unique experiences through filmmaking and hopes to uplift others by creating well rounded, diverse characters on screen. Her select credits include What We Do in the Shadows (FX), The Boys (Amazon Prime), Stolen By Their Father (Lifetime). Dorrett has trained RAW and LB Acting Studio. She is a graduate of the Acting for Film & Television program at Humber College.

Storyline
TEAH tells the story of Teah and Damien, two former lovers grappling with the unresolved issues that led to their breakup. Teah, feeling burdened by the expectations of her family, challenges having to make the choice between a carefree life with Damien and the pressure to conform to societal standards
