Storyline

A young man’s life spirals out of control over the course of a day, when he is ordered to retrieve a stolen shipment, plunging him deeper into Montréal’s criminal underworld.

Description Joseph is a resentful young man who was raised in a very unconventional household and the son to a well respected mobster. He is quite reserved and keeps to himself most of the time, but has had lot of built up anger over the years from constant pressure. He blames his father for a lot of things that’s happened in his life, but is willing to do anything to protect the ones he loves at any cost, especially his little sister Emilia. - Must speak Italian - Must be comfortable with fake cigarettes

Principal	GIANCARLO “GIO” CATALANO:	Male 27 - 35 Years old
Description Gio has been Joseph’s best friend since they were young. He’s very handsome, well dressed, and displays a lot of confidence, but there’s something deeper underneath it all. Gio and Joseph are both trying to earn their stripes and become made men. Gio is also the Salvatore’s nephew. - Must be comfortable in Italian.

Description Emilia is Joseph’s younger sister (Camera age 16-18) who is a few weeks shy of eighteen and graduating high school. She’s delicate looking and very responsible, but also very curious and quick witted. She really looks up to her older brother, even though he might let her down most of the time. - Must be willing to learn basic Italian.

Description Maria is Joseph’s and Emilia’s Mother, and has been divorced for quite some time. She’s a very opinionated woman, who is also hard on her kids, but always just wants the best for them. Over the past few years, she’s become heavily reliant on pills to cope with her depression and anxiety. She is very emotionally dependent on others.- Must be comfortable in Italian.

Description (camera age 16-18) Alex ( any ethnicity) is Emilia’s best friend from school. The two of them are inseparable, but it’s clear that Alex has a huge influence on Emilia, which has an effect on the choices Emilia makes most of the time. She’s very flirtatious and most of the time she gets what she wants. - Must be comfortable with fake cigarettes

Description Salvatore Catalano is the acting boss of the Italian Mafia in Montréal. We never get to see what he fully looks like, but his lacking empathy and compassion tells us everything we need to know about him. He’s cold hearted and is willing to do anything in order to achieve whatever he wants, even if it involves danger, or harming others. Must be comfortable in Italian.

Principal	ANTOINE LAGUERRE	Male 28 - 35 Years old
Description Antoine (Ethnicity Black) is the acting leader of a prominent Haitian Gang operating in Montreal. He’s a tall and powerful young man with an intimidating appearance, which goes hand-in-hand with his wild personality. He was originally born in Haiti and immigrated over in his teenage years. Life was never easy for him growing up, as he was exposed to heavy violence at a young age, which led him to a life of crime. Antoine is a very intelligent thinker and pushes for his people, but always demands respect in the process. Must be comfortable speaking Creole

Description Mr. Cassano is Joseph’s father, who also used to be a well respected mobster. Unfortunately he fell ill with stage four cancer. Basically on his way out, the only wish he wants in life is to build a relationship with his son again. Mr. Cassano was hard on his children and ex wife over the years. He was a very selfish and violent man, but as the years went by and fell ill, everything chanced. He became very regretful of the life his lived for so long and his only task now is to do good by his family and the people he hurt over the years. MUST SPEAK ITALIAN
