Abdullahi, a part time student and full time security guard, is implicated in a drug sting by his cousin Latif. Now, at the mercy of the court, his freedom and immigration status in Canada are in jeopardy.

Abdullahi is a Somali man in his mid 20s. He works as a security guard and goes to college. he is a man having an existential crisis. He wants to make peace with God and repent for his sins. His example of manhood up to this point was his older, drug dealing cousin, Latif. He wants to become the best version of himself while sifting through the darkness of poverty and questionable family ties.

He is from a time when women and people of color knew their place. Julissa and Abdullahi's presence in his courtroom irks him to his core. However, he believes in the system, and regardless of his biases, he follows the rules to the T.
