The frontman and lead vocalist of Daybreak. Expressive and sure of himself, Ford yearns for the good things in life despite his growing physical ailments. Unlike his other bandmates, Ford feels a lack of contentment with his life and wishes for some kind of escape. He is not afraid to speak his mind and is open to confrontation, which frequently causes banter between himself and the rest of the band, seeing himself as the so-called leader. Throughout the music video, Ford shows himself to be an upbeat, passionate character, always prepared to push himself for the best in life. Would be an asset to be familiar with instrument pretraining to band member, but not required.

The lead guitarist of Daybreak. Being the most outgoing member of the band, Matty is not afraid to have his opinions heard and uses this to his advantage when conversing with the rest of the band, often challenging their views. He has a deep love and passion for performing and longs for it just as much as Ford while accepting that his youth has passed by and cannot be experienced again. He tends to banter with Ford and Christian, especially with the latter, as they frequently tease one another. Would be an asset to be familiar with instrument pretraining to band member, but not required.

The bassist of Daybreak. The quietest and most reserved member of the band, Christian is not entirely troubled by his old age like the others. He subscribes to the mindset that life is constantly changing and sees no use in dwelling on it. He enjoys poking fun at his bandmates, especially with Matty, and playing card games, especially Bingo. Would be an asset to be familiar with instrument pretraining to band member, but not required.

The drummer of Daybreak. Being the band's youngest member, Royee does not feel as conflicted with aging as the other men despite knowing it looms over him. He is the peacekeeper of the group, trying to end the banter between the three other men, and does his best to try and cool down the situation when things get tense. Would be an asset to be familiar with instrument pretraining to band member, but not required.

Joy is a young mother with a sharp wit, edginess, and a "take no shit attitude". Unapologetically herself, Joy is rebuilding a life after getting out of the sex trade - she is always on the offence except with those she cares about. The role requires emotional depth, vulnerability, and the ability to deliver sharp, candid moments with conviction.

Daisy is Joy's rambunctious, and unpredictable daughter. Daisy has a strong will and an offbeat charm, often challenging her mother's patience and sparking tension in their everyday interactions. The role requires a natural presence and the ability to bring Daisy's defiant personality to life.

Leanne is Joy's loud-mouthed, fun-loving best friend. Leanne has seen some things and is the only connection Joy has to the past. She is fiercely supportive, with a childlike energy that hides her own struggle to survive. She brings levity to Joy's world but is no stranger to the weight of a past like theirs.

Diane is the tough and unbreakable grandma with a soft side. She's seen it all and it shows in her interactions with her daughter and granddaughter.
