A creative, kind, caring person. But they struggle to get out of their own head at times. Their main aspiration in life is to find ‘the one’ to avoid his fear of being alone. Due to his supernatural ability, he has become more closed off and vulnerable in relationships.

Danny is Emily’s first real relationship. They are thoughtful and kind with a playful side. They enjoy writing short stories in their journal for fun and is often relaxing on the couch in a cozy blanket. They are patient and understanding of peoples problems but does have problems of their own. Emily is fun to be around and can always think of ways to make people laugh.

Danny’s best friend, Ryan is charismatic and outgoing with a playful sense of humor. Usually laid back and says it how it is when talking to people they care about. Supports Danny and wants what's best for them.

Olivia is upbeat and positive. Well liked by people she meets and always wants to help out those who need it. Due to personal losses in their life, they are great and understanding people who are struggling in life. Olivia usually wears bright colors and has creative outfits.

An isolated young teen, Charlie, is in high school and enjoys art more than anything other subject. They don't really have any friends or a close relationship with their family, which is what lead them to using the internet to find friends or something more than that. They found someone who was interested in them, Amber, someone who was nice and originally said she was 17, but once they were in a relationship disclosed she was actually 27 and started to become a lot meaner. This adult women is their only friend, the only person who pays attention to them, who says she loves them, while also trying to control every part of their life. They are trapped in an abusive, pedophilic relationship with little hope for escape and a lot of emotions to deal with. Please see comments for disclaimer on films content.

We are looking for white cisgender women, as they are likely to get away with being groomers as they are seen as incapable of doing something so wrong. A troubled women, Amber, with no job, no friends, and no life outside of her bedroom has found someone naive enough to trap. She knows that her being 10 or more years older than the people she loves is not entirely good, but anyone her age hates being around her. She craves connection, love, intimacy, but has no idea how to have any of those things in a healthy consensual way. She knows how to say and do the things that get her what she wants, weather or not what she is doing is morally right. Her presence is felt throughout the entire piece, even when she is not shown on screen because of how much power she holds over Charlie.

Charlies older brother, Kyle, is a full time college student who works a part time job on the side. His personal commitments take up most of his mental headspace, which leads him to seeming a little self centered, but he isn't malicious or hateful. He just preoccupied and off in his own world most of the time.

Charlie and Kyle's Mother, Carol, is a single mother with a lot on her plate. She can be stern, but she really cares about her kids well beings. She tries her best to be present in their lives, but is falling short with Charlie due to the other things going on her life. She cares, she just not great at showing that.

The character portrayed is male, Somalian/East African, 25-30 years old, has now become a gangster. PLEASE ONLY SUBMIT SOMALIAN OR EAST AFRICAN ACTORS. Very proud of his tribe and not afraid to use violence if he feels something is unjust. Upset that Farah has returned to Toronto and become a part of Halima's life again, the woman he's always wanted and is happy to physically fight for. Believed in the medical system, but is questioning that belief now. She is emotional/scared but is being strong for her husband.

NICK - Lead male, 35yrs - 40yrs, South Asian. Karuna's husband and best friend. "Big on Life." Determined to live life to the fullest and not let the cancer diagnosis keep him down. Not afraid to try and do new things. Has a sense of humour. There's something about Nick that people are drawn to him/like him.
