Susan
Susan is Sam and David’s mother. After her divorce, she raised Sam alone, facing many financial struggles without much support. Despite her hardships, she is a woman of strong principles. Sam is her main source of happiness and support, and her hopeful, positive outlook has been a guiding force in his life. We are looking for a younger actress to play Susan, as this script involves flashback scenes.... Aging makeup will be applied during scenes which take place in the present.
Olivia
Olivia is a nurse, balancing her work with a cold yet empathetic manner. She’s middle class and, like Sam, struggles financially, working long hours just to make ends meet. She doesn’t have a passion for her job. It’s simply a means of survival. Although she may seem distant to Sam, she quietly shares similar struggles and sacrifices.
Young Dealer
This character is a minor role, appearing only in the climactic scene. The "young dealer" symbolizes the innocence of youth, contrasting with the darker elements of the story. In their brief appearance, they are portrayed as a young drug dealer whom David is working with, highlighting the disparity between their youthful innocence and the morally compromised world David inhabits.
Young Sam
Young Sam will appear in flashback scenes alongside his mother, Susan. These moments will depict warm, nostalgic memories, providing a stark contrast to the cold, dark reality Sam now experiences in the present moment.
Young David
Young David will appear in a flashback scene, portraying a teenage version of the character. In this moment, he is seen as a negative influence on his younger brother, Sam. The scene will show a heated argument between Young David and their mother, Susan, highlighting their contrasting views on life.

SABINA
All Ethnicities. A master of comedy, blending wit and vulnerability. The epitome of controlled chaos wrapped in an elegant veneer. Sabina’s sharp humour and charm hide a growing obsession that stems from her insecurities. As she teeters on the edge, her transformation from quirky girlfriend to amateur detective takes centre stage. Beneath her spiralling paranoia lies a tender love for Asher—if only she could keep her suspicions in check.
ASHER
All Ethnicities. Comedic timing is a must; charming and relatable. Asher is a lovable optimist with the patience of a saint. His strength and devotion to Sabina shine through even as he becomes caught between her suspicions and his carefully planned proposal. Balancing his partner's chaos with tender understanding, he is both the rock in their relationship and a man on the brink of his own limits.
DORRIS
All Ethnicities. A scene-stealer with a knack for lighthearted delivery. Dorris is the unflappable neighbour who adds a touch of levity to the drama unfolding next door.
