Mom
Mom is a great parent. Happy, loving and sweet. She is only with our characters for a short while, but her caring nature shows us the difference between her and Elliott's father.
Male
Sam Bender
Early to mid 30s, male. A Head Detective in the district of North Vancouver. He's a smart guy who rose through the ranks early in his career. His "no-nonsense", deadpan demeaner makes him quite a funny guy- but not on purpose. Sam is a dedicated man, fully devoted to his job. Sometimes too devoted. Despite his cool exterior, he turns into a bumbling fool when faced with his ex-wife.
Alan Alberts
40s-50s, male. A well-respected veteran of the police force, Captain Alan Alberts is known as the best of the best. While he can be easily frustrated with Sam's antics, he respects his dedication to the job and is proud to be a mentor to him.
Pamela
Early 30s, female. A famous soap opera actress, Pamela is used to living in luxury and having all eyes on her- she craves the spotlight, and all of this crime scene business is interrupting her close up. As Sam's ex wife, she knows exactly what's hiding behind his serious persona, and knows exactly how to push his buttons.
Coat Check Attendant

Mistress Blackthorne (
Dignified lady, has suffered much. Her family loyalty's with the Puritans, but a Royalist husband. Temperamental but vulnerable also.
Charles Cheeseman
Venial to the point of gross, but with depths and sorrows of his own. Has Scottish accent.
Enid
A faerie, not of this world. Neither good nor evil, but dangerous.
Bedevere
A Druid, one of the last of his kind. Has world-weariness and wisdom both.
CHRISTOPHER
Male, 30s -40s, white. Christopher dreamed of space travel ever since he was a kid. He has a curious and fearless nature by heart. He served in the Armed Forces before transitioning to the United Space Federation, where he could finally fulfill his dream. He is no-nonsense but retains his methodical, curiosity of things unknown. Ever since his wife and son died, he has become a hollow vessel, yearning for meaning and purpose in his life, that not even space travel can bring anymore. He desperately wishes to find the *unknown* that will mend his heart. SENSITIVE CONTENT: Christopher is dealing with PTSD and guilt over losing his family in a car accident. Actor should be comfortable performing an intense scene with a nervous breakdown relating to his guilt.
LINDA
Female, 45 - 55 yrs old, any ethnicity. Linda is a calm, pragmatic pilot with over thirty years of experience in space. She mentors her younger crewmates, guiding them through challenges with a nurturing demeanour. As she navigates unexpected dangers, she balances her responsibilities while confronting the unknown, showcasing her resilience and dedication to her mission.
DARIUS
Male, 20s -30s, any ethnicity. Darius is a young, inexperienced deep spacer looking to make a name for himself in this exciting new world. He has a thin veneer of cockiness but quiets right down when confronted by someone of Lindas confidence. He is snarky and tries to add levity to moments of boredom in the cosmos.
Erik
Erik (mid 20s), moves through the world believing he has successfully worked through his past relationship trauma. He believes he is in a place of existing fully in the present with his current girlfriend, Ariana, and close friends (Justin, Daniel, and Charli). However, bumping into Sophia at the club forces him to consciously revisit some unresolved emotions he did not realize were unresolved. Erik is reflective and observant most of the time, but can truly live in the moment when he is around his friends. When he is forced out of the headspace of living in the moment, he loses himself in his thoughts. He is a morally grey character, who tries his best to do the right thing, but can be persuaded to do wrong by those close to him. He is an avoidant type of person, but is willing to push through those avoidant traits by the end of the film. *Note: This role will have scenes of intimacy (scenes of kissing, dancing close with another performer, holding hands, etc.). An intimacy coordinator will be on set.
Sophia
Sophia (mid 20s) is Erik’s ex-girlfriend. She is a light hearted and emotionally immature party girl. She is the one who originally ended her relationship with Erik years ago. However, after bumping into Erik in the present, she discovers that she is not over him and wants to get him back. She can be sneaky and manipulative, but when Erik rejects her, the embarrassment sends Sophia down a journey of drinking her shame away. *Note: This role will have scenes of intimacy (scenes of kissing, dancing close with another performer, holding hands, etc.). An intimacy coordinator will be on set.
Ariana
Ariana (mid 20s) is Erik's current girlfriend. She is grounded and confident in herself, carrying an alternative aesthetic and presence. She is emotionally intelligent and good at reading her friends’ emotions — especially Erik’s. Communication, compassion, and patience are important values to her, which is why Erik has fallen in love with her. Her intuitive empathetic understanding of people makes her unique, as she approaches the world with a compassionate and spiritual mindset to life. *Note: This role will have scenes of intimacy (scenes of kissing, dancing close with another performer, holding hands, etc.). An intimacy coordinator will be on set.
Vince
Vince (mid 20s) is a stereotypical toxically masculine guy. Acting as the antagonist of the story, he spends the night trying to get Sophia to go home with him no matter what. He is a decently selfish man, with a god complex issue, who has not learned to view women as independent people — as he treats them more like objects or trophies. Vince is also a more intelligent person than people give him credit for. *Note: This role will have scenes of intimacy (scenes of kissing, dancing close with another performer, holding hands, etc.). An intimacy coordinator will be on set.
Justin
Justin (mid 20s) is the only single friend in the group and is focused on talking to pretty girls all night. He is charming and silly, carrying himself with a looseness and a lot of confidence in himself. Although he shares a similar goal to Vince, Justin differs from Vince, in that he views women as independent people. Being friends with Charli and Ariana, Justin operates his romantic journey with a genuine desire to connect with others.
Charli
Charli (mid 20s) is part of Erik’s friend group and is Daniel’s girlfriend. She also has an alternative aesthetic, similar to Ariana, but has a more outgoing and energetic personality. Charli is just at the club to dance and have a good time with Daniel and their friends. She is a big dancer, and knows how to party.
