Storyline
About the Show:
The Flin Flon Cowboy is a new musical co-created by Ken Harrower, Erin Brandenburg and Johnny Spence about the life of Ken Harrower, produced by The Flin Flon Cowboy Collective. Experience the extraordinary journey of The Flin Flon Cowboy, an original autobiographical musical about disability, love, and sex. Delve into the remarkable real-life story of Ken Harrower, the brilliant and disabled performer and country singer who hails from Flin Flon, Manitoba.
Ken takes centre stage as the central performer, backed by a live country-western band made up of some of Canada’s most inventive indie musicians in a show that combines elements of documentary, confessional, and breathtaking musical numbers. Through direct address, documentary footage, and video design inspired by Ken’s original paintings, a spotlight is shone on Ken's unforgettable performance and one-of-a-kind life story.
