At this phase in her life, she is starting to hit some rough patches that are adding some weight to her emotions. However, with the guidance of her Grandmother, she starts to appreciate her Culture as a way to grow through her emotions.

At this phase in her life, Sarah is growing confident and her leadership qualities are starting to display themselves. She understands the role she hopes to play in her community. She is even starting to feel romantically for another classmate. When her grandmother passes away, she is devastated, but, she knows that is when she will be taking her hereditary name and beginning her role as a community leader.
