Storyline
Jaime, a family judge, faces a custody case that mirrors her own past traumas. Struggling with guilt and personal bias, she must rule in favor of the mother, fearing the same harm done to her as a child may happen again. After an unsuccessful attempt to reconcile with her estranged mother, Jaime realizes she must heal her own emotional wounds.
