Storyline
A woman suffering from stress-induced insomnia tries to live up to her own expectations by getting a new job, but must navigate a manipulative boss, overbearing friend, and mysterious creature that watches her every move.

She is on the verge of eviction and is juggling delicate relationships with several people who hold power over her in various ways. She is a master of appearing confident and in control but is barely keeping it together under the surface, which manifests in her insomnia as well as occasional outbursts of frustration. She grew up poor and has spent her life working towards her ideal of a fancy house and high-paying job, and is willing to sacrifice anything to not return to her life of poverty. | ||

The way he sees it, it's everyone's responsibility to gift for themselves and if they don't they aren't winners. | ||

She is kind, albeit typically with some kind of agenda. | ||
