We accept union and non-union actors through our student agreement with ACTRA. This is a non-paying student film and no permit is required. Actors will received a copy of finished film for their demo reel. Meals and beverages provided on the shoot days.

Storyline
When Naomi’s closeted lover insists on keeping their feelings under wraps, an innocent slip leads Naomi’s mother, the town preacher, to believe that her daughter is miraculously pregnant with the Second Coming of Christ. As hysteria sweeps through the ultra-religious town, Naomi must navigate the complexities of her sexuality, faith, and the pressure of being the 'new Virgin Mary'.

Description Open Ethnicity. Awkward, loser-ly, moody, lesbian, and a virgin, things are not super easy for Naomi in her small religious town-- and on top of all that, her mother is the town preacher. Naomi feels like the only person who really gets her is Ruth, who she has a clandestine relationship with. That is, until Ruth decides to end their relationship for fear of getting found out, and starts openly going out with Victor instead. Naomi is deeply hurt and furious when she finds out, and in attempting to hide the real reason behind their conflict, Ruth accidentally starts a rumour that Naomi has immaculately conceived to deliver the next Christ Child.
